Nice pictures! Common Milkweed is Asclepias syriaca. This one I believe is Asclepias sullivantii or Sullivan’s milkweed. The leaves are entirely different and the flowers are also although more subtle.

Thanks - good catch - this plant is much less coarse than common milkweed and shorter too. I have changed to post to reflect the correction.
